The City of Helotes is committed to the health and safety of our staff, vendors, and visitors at the Helotes MarketPlace event. We continue to follow the recommended protocols from medical professionals. We have implemented the following health measures in the spirit of community health and safety.
Social Distancing
We encourage all vendors and visitors to maintain six feet social distance from those individuals not in their same household.
Face Masks
Face masks are not required, although the City of Helotes highly recommends that all attendees wear a cloth face covering when they cannot maintain six feet social distance from other individuals not located within their same household. Medical experts agree that wearing face coverings is one of the most effective measures to minimize the risk of exposure to germs, including the COVID-19 virus.
Personal Hygiene
It is highly recommended that staff, vendors, and the public maintain good hygiene, including frequently washing hands or using hand sanitizer. The MarketPlace suggests that all vendors have hand sanitizer readily available at their booth space.
Food Vendors
All vendors serving food (both Food Court and Cottage Food) at the Helotes MarketPlace are required to follow these measures:
For a complete list of food vendor requirements and policies, applicable vendors shall review the Helotes MarketPlace Vendor Policies & Instructions document.
Symptoms of COVID-19
Anyone who feels unwell or has symptoms below should not attend the Helotes MarketPlace event.
This is not a complete list of all possible symptoms. Visit the CDC website for more information.
