The City of Helotes is committed to the health and safety of our staff, vendors, and visitors at the Helotes MarketPlace event. We continue to follow the recommended protocols from medical professionals. We have implemented the following health measures in the spirit of community health and safety.
The total number of vendor booths has been reduced to help maintain a safe distance between vendors. In addition, we encourage all vendors and visitors to maintain six feet social distance from those individuals not in their same household.
Signage throughout the MarketPlace will remind all visitors to practice social distancing while attending this outdoor arts and crafts event.
Face masks are not required, although, the City of Helotes highly recommends that all attendees wear a cloth face covering when they cannot maintain six feet social distance from other individuals not located within their same household. Medical experts agree that wearing face coverings is one of the most effective measures to minimize the risk of exposure to germs, including the COVID-19 virus.
The City of Helotes will provide hand sanitizing stations through the MarketPlace event for public use. It is highly recommended that staff, vendors, and the public maintain good hygiene, including frequently washing hands or using hand sanitizer. The MarketPlace recommends that all vendors have hand sanitizer readily available at their booth space.
All vendors serving food (both Food Court and Cottage Food) at the Helotes MarketPlace are required to follow these measures:
For a complete list of food vendor requirements and policies, applicable vendors shall review the 2021 Helotes MarketPlace Vendor Policies & Instructions document.
